About this class
In Doke’s improvisation based contemporary class we warm up the totality of the body with groove and pleasure, focussing on sensations, imagination and strength. With traces of her extensive training in Gaga and Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement, the class aims to connect to our intrinsic motor to move and explores the embodiment of many different qualities.

We will workshop some ideas from Doke’s current research on consolation, unconsciousness and the animal body with tasked based improvisation exercises and sensitive partnering.
