DansBlokTALENT

DansBlokTALENT is een ontwikkelingsproject voor semi-professionele en vergevorderde dansers, opgezet door DansBlok en dansstudio Tribes en vindt plaats in Leiden. De dansers krijgen de kans om werkervaring op te doen in een professionele productie, toegang tot professionele training en persoonlijke coaching.

ENGLISH
DansBlokTALENT is a chance for semi professional dancers to experience working on a professional production and develop yourself as a dancer in the work field. Right now we are auditioning for the new performance Mind the Body! This project consists of 7 rehearsals working towards a performance with 3 showdates, access to our professional dance training and coaching. This project is a collaboration with dance studio Tribes, in Leiden.

Repetities: 9/3, 16/3, 23/3, 6/4, 13/4, 20/4, 4/5 – van 13:30 tot 17:00 u
Voorstellingen:
11 mei – PestHuys, Leiden
1 juni – Museumnacht, Leiden
23 juni – Theater Diligentia, Den Haag (Tribes production project)

Over MIND the BODY
Een gevoel van verdriet maakt je fysiek aan het huilen, een grap kan je laten schaterlachen, als je je ergens boos over maakt spannen je spieren zich aan. Andersom kan een fysieke ervaring je aan het denken zetten. Het één kan niet zonder het ander, ratio en emotie zijn op magische wijze aan elkaar verbonden. Zijn geest en lichaam twee verschillende entiteiten of zijn ze één? Wat is dominant, kan het één de ander de baas zijn? Kan emotie je in beweging zetten? Deze vragen onderzoeken we in deze nieuwe DansBlok TALENT productie ‘Mind the body’.

Meedoen
Mail vóór 27 januari naar je CV en een korte motivatie. Het onderwerp van de mail is ‘auditie DansBlokTALENT’. Je hoort uiterlijk 29 januari of je bent uitgenodigd voor de auditie.

– Je kan op alle repetitie- en voorstellingsdagen.
– Tijdens de repetitie periode ben je welkom bij de professionele wekelijkse DansBlok training en krijg je coaching om je verder te ontwikkelen als danser.
– De kosten voor dit project zijn €272,50 per danser

About MIND the BODY
A performance about the connection between the mind and the body, emotions and thoughts. A feeling of sadness can make you cry, a joke can make you laugh so hard your tummy hurts, if you’re angry you will feel your muscles tense up. The other way around, a physical experience can make you think in a different way. One can not exist without the other, feelings and thoughts are magically connected. Are mind and body two different entities or are they one? What is dominant, can one overrule the other? Can emotion move you? These are the questions that we will investigate in Mind the Body.

Mail your CV and a short motivation to before January 27th. Make sure the subject of the email is ‘audition DansBlokTALENT’. We will let you know if you’re invited to the audition on January 29th.

If you’re joining:
– You’re available on all rehearsal and performance dates.
– During the rehearsal period you are welcome at our weekly professional dance training and we will coach you in your development as a dancer.
– The costs of the project are €272,50.
